CodeCraft
CodeCraft — the game of Russian AI Cup 2020, the bot-programming championship held by Mail.ru Group — restored on a private server. The official platform is gone; the original engine lives on here. We brought it back for ourselves, to sharpen our coding skills: write a strategy, upload it, watch it fight.
Game #3 · Round1 · format37-2020 vs thermit-2020 vs quickstart vs dragoonxen-2020. Click an entity to see what it is doing; every game has such a replay.
The game
An 80×80 map, 1000 ticks. Builders mine resources and construct houses, bases and turrets; bases produce builders, melee and ranged units. Score comes from building and from destroying the enemy. Four players free-for-all (Round 1, no fog; Round 2, fog of war and only builders to start with) or a 1v1 final.
How it works here
- The official engine (local runner 1.3.0) plays every game in Docker.
- Strategies in any of the 15 official client languages.
- Limits as in 2020: 1.0 s per tick, 40 s CPU per game, 1024 MB.
- Every new build plays 10 rated sandbox games (Elo); custom games on request.
